I’ve just followed the instructions for setting up PPTP VPN on 10.2 server (from the News segment on the site) and i’ve managed to connect to the server via Internet Connection.app. However, i was under the impression that this would allow me to remote control the screen of the server? All it does is connect and that seems to be it. Am i missing something???
If not, what is the vpnd for then?

Does the vpnd include any method of extending a broadcast domain across an IP link? I’ve used a couple of routers that did this but nothing on the UNIX side that seems to.

PPTP is a layer 2 implementation so I’m just thinking out loud really. A “nope” would generally suffice but if anyone knows more….;)
