Novell have now released Open Enterprise Server 2 SP1 which includes new Novell-engineered protocol support for Apple Filing Protocol (AFP) on the Linux platform.

AFP versions 2.2, 3.0 and 3.1 are supported with support for 3.2 coming with a future release.
As for file systems, only Novell’s own NSS is currently supported but support for native Linux file systems are planned for the future.
