Xgrid seems to be not available

Hi there,

I’m currently setting up a Podcast Producer and the Xgrid. Both (in case of the Xgrid the controller) are running on the same machine. When I submit jobs to the Xgrid using the terminal everything works fine. I can also submit a taken video to the PcP server using Podcast Capture. But after that nothing happens. On the website I can’t see anything beyond my user.

What I consider to be strange is a message I find on the console every minute: “Xgrid is not available, watcher cannot perform Xgrid operations”.

Do you know why that happens? Anyone?

You’re not the only one. I too have the dreaded XGrid Unavailable message with out an answer. Anyone?
