Process named “nano”

We seem to be getting a process named “nano” that appears on our server from time to time. It uses a considerable amount of processor power for hours if not days. Any time we se it, we kill it.

Any idea what “nano” is?

Well i figured out that “nano” is a CLI text editor. But how could it constantly use ~90% cpu usage for hours on end on a Dual 2.3GHz G5?

Thing is, we rarely use the terminal on the Xserve. We always ssh in. And we always use pico.
