Office 2008 12.2.0 update touches python components?

anybody notice that the 12.2.0 update apparently touches (at least) stuff in /System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework? i'm wondering why this is the case as i repackage the whole installer. do you think there's any harm in not including these files in a repackaged installer?
