Netboot across subnets (Intel)

Hi everyone I want to get a netrestore server going at a very large client, however the netrestore server is on a different subnet than the clients. I read Bombich's article on netbooting across subnet but it is tailored for OF, not the new EFI for intels. Has anyone had any experience with this yet? How did you configure the clients to netboot across a subnet?
