Login Item Preference Panel

Hi All,
i’m experiencing a bad load (it hangs and will not complete the loading) of the Account login item preference pane once the Mac has been bound to our AD. This happens only with AD account while everything works correctly if I logout and login back with the local admin account.

However, my moderation powers don’t let me move the topic.

Anyways, a shot in the dark–what is the “Home folder” set to in the “Profile” tab of ADUC of the user in question? We’ve had hangs when we’ve had local accounts and a user with a defined “Home folder” that’s somewhere out on the network.

Hey Patrick,
the Home Folder is forced on local this is what I can’t undestand…btw have to check the users AD configuration as well…and next time i’ll post into the right container. 🙂

Tiger works as per usual. Leopard is giving me some headache.
