dial in to server?

Is it possible to configure an OS X or Darwin machine to accept dial in connections? I've found tutorials for Linux about this. They use pppd and getty or mgetty. The gettys don't seem to be installed. Do you know if they would conflict with anything? Is there an Apple way? Any help or pointers is appreciated. Scott
