Change networksettings on Client

Hello! I have quite a few OS 10.4.7 clients I need to change the "preferred DNS server" setting on. I know I can use the sudo serversetup -setDefaultDNSServe xx.xxx.xx.x on servers, but I dont think this will work on a client. Does anyone know how to change this? Also: The site www.apple.com/server/documentation is great for getting tips on OSX Server. Does anyone know of a similar site for OSX clients? Its the commandline manual Im most interessted in. Any tips would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks! Thomas
