Howdy folks,

Is there any difference or benefit to changing the root password via booting with install DVD and using Utilities > Reset Password… vs. booting SUM and issuing:
mount -uw /; sh /etc/rc; passwd
?

    Thanks!!

Thanks for the reply Mr. MacTroll. The sh /etc/rc command failed in SUM – no such directory. Oh well 😕
