ARD for Intel

Has anyone heard anything about when we might expect an update to the ARD administration tools for Intel?

And what’s the deal with the ARD client on Intel? After trying to install the client, the best I could get was a non-function 2.1 install and a 2.2 installer that wouldn’t install on the system vol. Then I come across some vague tech doc saying that ARD client is preinstalled on the Intel macs but there are not the usual user config controls and by extension, the VNC server control.

That’s excellent news. I’ll have a look. Here’s hoping I didn’t kill it by trying to install the client.
