Hi I am running Panther Server 10.3.2 with 2 network cards one connected to my DSL the other to the internal network. I have Mail,AFP,DHCP,Firewall,Web and VPN service all running with out any issues. I want to be able to control my network remotely using ARD by connecting to my LAN using the VPN connection.

When I connect using VPN I can access all service on my network, ARD finds the server and client Mac’s and they apear in the list with there internal IP’s assigned by the DHCP service, but when I go to perform any sort of action in ARD I get an error message stating there was a problem communicating with the device, then the IP of the Mac Im trying to control changes in the list from the internal IP to the Public IP Address of my network card connected to the DSL. After that there is no responce from ARD. Has anyone experianced this or have an idea of what might be causing the problem.

    Best Regards

    Steve
