Hey guys,
I recently started redoing my packages and workflow to accommodate Lion and had an odd thing happen: after running instaup2date with the -p command, I was getting errors where none of the applications in my booted hard drive would run. Upon restart, Finder would ‘unexpectedly quit’ and as far as I can tell, there’s no recovery beyond just doing a fresh install.
My workflow involves using the booted partition to access a secondary HD in my Mac Pro that contains my actual packages and the instadmg script and it’s how I’ve done it since before Lion was released. Not sure what happened this time around that would break the booted partition but it’s definitely of somewhat concern to me.
The crash message is:
Application Specific Information:
dyld: launch, loading dependent libraries
Dyld Error Message:
Library not loaded: /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MeshKit.framework/Versions/A/MeshKit
Referenced from: /System/Library/Frameworks/Quartz.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/QuartzComposer.framework/Versions/A/QuartzComposer

Any ideas?
