    Hello Admins

A customer of mine is still using Mac OS X 10.4 Server in an 3 people office.
Until last friday (a week ago) everything was going well, but now………….

The server has a PCI Raid card for tow SATA drives which are mirrored for security reasons.
Now since monday, a lot of files and folders are missing. Not only the ones created on friday but all the ones back until end of September.

I did try to find out what was going wrong and did therefor check the raid with DiskWarrior 4.2 but it didn’t show any broken files or folder informations. The output was completely clean.

So the next thought was there has been some manual removing of the files and folders.
I did check (for about 6 hours) all log files on the server but I couldn’t find any entry which I could identify as a manual removing/deleting of the missing files and folders.

My question is now, how can I find out how the files and folders could disappear. Is it possible that the server hardware (Power supply or logic board or memory) could produce such an fault?
Which log files contain the information that I need to be able to identify the problem clearly and unequivocally?
    Is this even possible?

Thank you in advance for anyones help and tips.

    Kind regards from Switzerland
    Thomas Thaler
