    Hi All,

I’m wondering what does it mean that in Server Admin we see two identical network names being logged in at the same time. Server Admin counts them as different users so we usually divide this number by 2 to get the real amount of users connected via afp.

I’ve seen this behaviour on Tiger and now Leopard Server and wonder if this could be a potential performance isse and if so, how to avoid it. The Xserve is connected to the network only via one Ethernet cable, en0.

    Thanks,

    Alex

    Yes,

all network users mount their groups folder when logging in. Didn’t thought this counts as a separate connection. How does this relate the the 150 users max. at the same time for an OD Master rule? Does it have a huge impact?

    Thanks,

    Alex
