    Hi.

    I think since Leopard i can not use åäö when creating a user (longname). I i do i dont get any name in the account and other things wont work either. I tried to figure out how to solve this but im out of ideas?

    Anyone solved this yet?

    Hi, thx for replying Troll.

    No, i haven’t. Mostly because i don’t ever use the exotic chars in shortname so i don’t consider that a problem, just the longname. I also use the longname to set the computer name.

    It’s been a while since I edited the createuser package. Would it have something to do with escaping the characters?
