I may be missing something, but it seems that iTunes 8 has taken a step backwards on manageability – in particular, with iTunes 7 I added /System/LIbrary/CoreServices/ManagedClient and locked down things like library sharing and such. NO problem. If I update a client to iTunes 8 however, those preferences do not apply. I’ve also tried adding iTunes 8 directly, but it doesn’t appear to have a preference manifest file. Any ideas?

I’ve been busy working on other stuff so hadn’t had a chance to try this yet… Got around to it today, but it looks like 8.0.2 might have resolved the issue, as my iTunes seems to be managed again. Go figure.
