I currently have a Server Running Mac OS 10.5 Server and a Windows 2003 Active Directory. The bind process went fine with clients connecting to the OD Master and Active Directory, and the Server is binded to Active Directory. I created my groups for users and computers in OD and added the AD users to them so I can manage the MAC’s when AD users login. This is working fine! When the user logs in the windows home directory is mounted to the Dock on the Leopard client. All files are accessible.

    The dock mount works fine.
The desktop mount only shows the contents of “shome” (at this point the user cannot even navigate to the their folder as they do not have read access to lets say the “10thgrade” folder.

    Windows Share Structure.

shome <- main share point users have read only 10thgrade <- These folders on this level restricted access to all users, this way students cannot even see its content, even though their folder is located in this folder. ls11123 test123 <- Only folder user has access to read/write 11thgrade 12thgrade Is there a way that the mount on the desktop can connect to this windows share (being the folder called "test123") as well and can I have the users files on the MAC such as, The documents folder, pictures folder, etc. be on this share much like redirecting windows documents and desktop folders.
