I have a 10.5.4 Server with Open Directory running, network home folders and three client computers connected. On one of those (Intel iMac), I’m not able to login as a network user, you can see “Other” at the login window but if I type name and password, window shivers and that’s it. Local Users on that computer are no problem and logging in as a network users on other bound computers works fine.
When I log in in the terminal it gives me:

    No home directory /Network/Servers/myserver.mydomain.com/Volumes/Mirror 500/Users/ties!
Logging in with home = “/”.

I can go to the home folder with AFP, and other computers are able to find the home folder as well.

Any help is appreciated, I’m trying to avoid reinstalling the system for now, for my hunger for understanding 🙂
