    All,

    I’m playing with our newly upgraded 10.5.2 OD Server (from 10.4.11… was a basically mandatory upgrade due to a locking bug in BDB), and seeing an oddity with mcxquery.

    If I do a query for a user and group with mcxquery, I get one set of info. But, if I run the same query with a computer added, I get the exact same result. Infact, if I query a user with no specific settings, and query that against a computer that has settings, I get:

    Error ‘no data found’ (-4584) running compositor for user: rstasel group: (null) computer: testcomputer

    So, umm… anyone else see this issue? Running this on the OD server vs. a separate computer makes no difference.

    10.5.3 fixed it.

    mcxquery now returns computer records. cool! So far, I haven’t had any issues with 10.5.3, and it seems to fix all the problems I have been having except assigning an SSL cert to a OD replica.
