I have done a lot of searching but ive only found one note (on macwindows.com) about leopard clients not being able to login to active directory sub-domains. I haven’t been able to login to a sub-domain either, have any of you?

    leopard 10.1.5, ad 2k3

I assume you meant leopard 10.5.1? Yes I have the same problem. Was hoping that 10.5.2 will solve the problem – but no luck, after the update, still can’t log in to sub-domains. The root domain accounts authenticate fine though.

Yes i was referring to 10.5.1 but the update to 10.5.2 did the trick for me…. after what i heard about AD binding problems from tiger to leopard upgrades, I unbound the machine before i upgraded and then re-binded. not sure if this would make any difference for you.
