I’ve been playing around with this for a while on the server I use at home (4 macs, 1 PC, and a host for my blog and eventually my wiki). In Advanced config, there is an option in Directory Admin to make group wikis world viewable, but only editable by authenticated users. If I try kicking those bits on when I’m connected to my Standard server, it loses the wikis in a big way. I’d like to publish a Wiki from a Standard server installation that has world-viewable rights.

I’m loathe to go mucking around in Terminal, as I seem to break all kinds of things in the Standard installation by poking the wrong bits. As I’m getting tired of restoring the server when I break something serious (usually with the above mentioned poking), can anyone offer a suggestion? I have the Peachpiit book, and it’s great, but it’s all about configuring an Advanced installation, which I don’t want.

    Thoughts?

😳 I swear I checked both places. When I get the array recovered I’ll check it out.

Thanks for the sanity check….I couldn’t imagine it was anything difficult….
