We use SUN iPlanet for our Corporate LDAP v3 Directory Services –

Is it possible to setup a Leopard OD Master, that would utilize the new Augmented Records feature, while getting the standard POSIX user attributes from Sun LDAP?

Right now it looks like the only options are for importing users from an existing OD or Active Directory Master – rather than the UNIX (RFC 2307) master.

Otherwise – If I had to import the Leopard Server schema to the iPlanet Server – will my existing Panther/Tiger machines that are already bound to it via LDAPv3 continue to function as they do now? Or does the Leopard server schema change/replace the previous Tiger schema?

(I think we only had to add 1 custom field to make AFP homes work and that was apple-user-homeurl )

    Thanks for any info.
