something is amiss!

I freshly installed 10.5 server
bound the boxen to AD
started up OD
I set the OD LDAP to match the AD structure

went into WGM and started setting up some settings,
created groups and populated then with AD groups and so on

closed out the machine for the night, and this morning, I can’t get back into wgm and authenticate the directory admin!!!!

about this time the system update says I have an update to keychain stuffs

but even after installing that, I still can’t authenticate the dir admin….

I did the mkpassdb trick with the authentication authority id and no luck – still get an error saying bad username or password

any ideas as to what is hammered?
it seems to be repeatable….

gonna knock it down again and start from scratch once more…. this time I’ll update the keychain stuffs first
