    Hello!

Sorry for the perhaps stupid question, but…

We have 2 10.4.x Servers running AFP, SMB, Web, and OD (one a master, the other it’s replicant). In a couple of months we will need to change the IP, the DNS-name and the computer name.

    Present (not real)
    computer name: mine
    DNS: mine.ours.com
    IP: 123.456.789.1

    Future (also not real)
    computer name: AB126ES0001
    DNS: theirs.ours.com
    IP: 10.100.100.1

Can someone give me a blow-by-blow on how to do all three changes? I’ve done changeip on a test platform several weeks ago, before I knew I would also have to change the computer name. Can I just do a normal changeip and then afterwards chnage the computer name in the System Preference / Sharing panel or will this irreversibly munge things up?

    Thanks in advance!
