I’ve run into a problem with ‘ldapsearch’. We have a couple of users with surname prefixes (‘von’ and ‘de’). We entered the name as it is supposed to be in Work Group manager when creating the user (e.g. John von Smith). Everything seems to work including using the correct name to log in. The problem is with ‘ldapsearch’. When the query returns that users name is shows up as ‘givenName: John sn: Smith’. How do I do the query so that I get the correct name? TIA.
