    From what I’ve been able to determine from the forums here, OS X Server will apparently allow you to share volumes mounted from external firewire drives. I was wondering, however, if it’s possible to convince OS X client (specifically 10.3.9) to share attached firewire volumes?

    Yes, just use Sharepoints.
