one of my clients is still using Jaguar server 10.2.8. Ther hard drive is getting quite full on the shared partition (system is on another partition with plenty of space). The problem is that the amount of space free on the server (as viewed across the network) doesn’t update unless you disconnect and reconnect. Closing Finder windows and re-opening, changing views, changing directories, none of these things updates the free space reported on the server drive. Now clients working on files stored on the server try to save to what looks like enough free space except it’s not sometimes if someone else has already filled up the available space. I realise the best solution is to put a bigger hard drive in the server but I would like to know if there is a solution to making the free space information update properly. TIA for any help
