    For example, I added a user and group “cvs” to our 10.4.1 system, and added myself and another person to the cvs group (added the cvs group to myself and another person). All done with WM.

    Using “groups” at the command line showed the new group wasn’t showing up in my list of groups. Waiting 10 minutes or so didn’t help. Rebooting fixed it.

    I imagine there’s a cache somewhere, but why the asynchrony between the WM changes and the actual system?

    Any ideas?
