I have a new g5 xserve- it’s set in a co-location, and I have my domain name pointed to the IP address for my server. But I guess I need to set a name server too. How do I do that? I know very little about all this, I’m way over my head on most of this, but need to learn. I have the Schoun Regan book- for 10.3.

What do I put in my zone file? where is my zone file? Is it a ns1.website.com name? I guess that it connects my domain name to my IP address? no?

use server admin to set up dns. make sure you have a soa in your zone configuration. and I would recommend buying the mac os x panther server administration from oreilly that is by michael bartosh, alot of good info.
