    topic used to be lookupd high cpu usage.
    yes lookupd is still very high.

    i have turned off all RBL lists in main.cf
    Turned off all header body and Regex checks

    a message with 17 addresses takes 47 mins to be accepted. in other words i click send,… 47 seconds later it goes out.

    An address with 169 addresses takes up to an hour.
    Sendmail and qpopper used to handle this very well.

    I have increased these;
    default_destination_recipient_limit = 200
    default_extra_recipient_limit = 2000

    at this point i do not believe postfix is the problem. but I’m not sure.
    any help on this would be helpful.
