Participanti noticed this yesterday and installed the latest version 0.80 without problems.
first uninstall clamav 0.7.x –
make uninstall
make distclean
i would also delete the old databases in /usr/share/clamav or /usr/local/share/clamav, depending on your installation.download the newest version 0.8.x
./configure –prefix=/usr –mandir=/usr/share/man –sysconfdir=/etc
make
sudo make installnote: take a look in the /docs/macosx/ also

ParticipantI was wondering if this process was the same if one has the setup from the Updated Spam/Virus Filtering article here. (ie amavisd-new, spamassassin, clamav, running on 10.3.8 Server)
Reviewing the article, there was a bit with getting a perl module for clamav. Does anyone know if that needs to be updated as well? One hopes not; I seem to recall that CPAN wasn’t working too well on that machine…

ParticipantJust got 10.3.8 working. I’m not touching 10.4 until it’s a bit more mature. And until I have to.
