I am stepping in after a different administrator, he setup all the users locally on the server, Open Directory was set to stand alone. I have enabled this server to be an Open Directory master and need to move all the users from the local context into the LDAP context.
Netinfo is not running when I select Open Directory -> Settings -> Protocols and then change the drop down menu to NetInfo Migration.

How do I get the users/groups moved to LDAP?
I am assuming that I need to start NetInfo so that I can do that, is that correct? If so, how do I start it?

This server has always been 10.3, never had 10.2 on this network.

Under 50. I could delete them and move them one at a time, and the groups too, but that would require downtime while I make the changes. (Downtime for the users that is)

I just want to import from the local netinfo database on the server, but netinfo is not running. How can I start it?
Or am I missing the whole picture altogether?
