I’m having quite the dittle of a problem.

I have the home directories on an NFS share on a linux box. And the linux box is set up as an LDAP server. Mac OS X 10.3.4 logs in via LDAP fine. But the NFS share doesn’t get mounted.

I know that the share is set up fine because I can get to it with NFS manager, but when I restart it’s no longer connected.

How do I get the NFS share to automount with Mac OS X?

It turned out the share was set up right…but not completely right for OS X to automount it.

You have to have the option “insecure” added for Mac OS X to mount it correctly.
