After reseting my old kerberos installation by deleting all the files in /var/db/krb5kdc and deleting /etc/krb5.keytab I follow the excellent article on afp548.com on setting up kerberos. But when running kdcsetup I get the following error: “WriteConfigToDir: cannot create realm name attribute, returning -14120” and then a bus error.

The strange thing is that I only get a bus error if using capital letters in my Realm name.

Anyone got a clue to this problem?
