    Hello,

I need help. I am trying to manage some Jaguar client units from a new Xserve. I am new at this.

Going into the Workgroup Manager and setting up preferences for a group of users seems to be pretty straight forward. I am assuming it is very similar to setting up users and workgroups in Macintosh Manager. The only thing I cannot see how to do is create an automatic login to a shared folder on two different servers.

Now, what really has me stumped is that I see no way to do the equivalent to this: to start using Macintosh Manager on a Mac OS 9 client I go to the Multiple-Users control panel, tell it to look for its info on a server, and turn it on. How do I do this for the managed client in Mac OS X?

I have looked on Apple’s tech support site for help. Evidentaly my imagination is not doing the trick because the keywords I am searching with are not pulling up any results. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I think I’m going to need step by step instructions for that. I looked at that yesterday and felt I was probably in the right place but just didn’t see what I would need to do to make it work.
