Windows Server 2008 connecting to leopard SMB PDC

I get a strange error when I try to connect my windows server 2008 to my leopard server running a SMB PDC. When I enter the domain, it gives me the box for user name and password. I enter diradmin and the correct password, but it gives me an error saying "The following error occurred attempting to join the domain 'ssav.com': Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password." I don't know any other steps to take and enterprise support wants to charge me $695! I can't afford that! HELP! By the way, running in virtual machine on server with bridged network. All static ip.
