What happened to the formatting of this forum?

Instead of just a topic heading that is a clickable link, the first paragraph or so of each topic is displayed as a link on the topic list page. In addition, everything is center justified instead of left justified. This makes it quite difficult to read. Is this a temporary thing or this on purpose?
