vpn on os x 10.2.6…newbie HEEELP!!

Hey all, I'm just learning vpn since yesterday, but I can't seem to really get it going. I want to make a connection with my home computer from here (work). I downloaded vaporsec (ran into it while searching how to do the vpn). When I installed vaporsec I couldn't connect to the lan at work and nobody could connect to my computer anymore. =( I have no idea how to get this working. Could someone plz send me some pointers or tutorials or whatever to get this working. I'm really a newbie so be gentle =) I tried VaporSec, VNCDimensions, VNCBeta3PPC and RemoteDesktopConnenction......but couldn't really get any of them working...I guess because the tuts are also pretty difficult.... Plzplzplz help me out here! Thankz a lot!!! Dave.
