Vacation Notice for OS Server 10.6 Mail

Hi, We have installed Mail for Mac OS server 10.6. Vacation notice does not work as it supposed to be. When we on the vacation notice it does not start the automatic message. Every time to make it work we need to delete the vacation.db file under email rules and it will wipe away the previous vacation messages. Any help is really appreciated. -Thanks Rakhi
