Using three NICs on the same computer

I have three NICs on my Mac OS 10.2 Server, but I just can only access one. I dont understand why the devices (net disk and other computer) are unavailable if it are not at the top of the list on ´Network Port Configurationsª on Network preference pane. I only can access to the computers connected on the net of the first port of the list. Could somebody help me?
