User accounts in Workgroup manager not getting logged in

I imported about 120 user accounts into Workgroup Manager via Passenger and now the old accounts that were already there cannot login from the client machines but the new accounts can. The only existing account that works is diradmin. I have created another new account directly in workgroup manager and it can't login.
