Unable to add new groups/users from OSX 10.6.2 to Active Directory

Hello, I'm unable to add a new user or group from OSX 10.6.2 (Snow Leopard) to our Active Directory domain. I have bound 10.6.2 to the Active Directory domain (2003 server) with no problems. I'm also able to see the user's and groups in our AD domain through 10.6.2. I just can't modify anything in the AD forest. Icons to add are grayed out. Also I'm authenticated properly to the AD domain with the proper credentials. Is does appear I have the capability to delete users or groups, I just can't add anything new. Can anyone help with this? Is there something I'm missing here? Thank you..
