ucspi-tcp & daemontools (inetd/xinetd replacement)

Does anyone here have a good understanding or know of a good source for setting up ucspi-tcp and daemontools? I installed it as part of a Qmail install, and following step by step I have it working with Qmail - but I would like to use it to completely replace inetd/xinetd for other services. There are plenty of docs at the developers site - but the docs he provides are exxtremely technical and really don't show any real world example. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ucspi-tcp & daemontools site http://cr.yp.to/ucspi-tcp.html
