Tiger Server Using iChat Server

I setup Tiger server on my local lan just to be on my local lan. I just want to use it for a local intranet(Which works fine with the web server) and a local ichat server. The ichat server works, but only for chatting. My users can not send files nor do any video conferencing. I have checked all the settings I can in ichat server but can't find out whats wrong. The server itself I have setup as a stand alone server. Basicaly ****.local . I do not have DNS enabled nor the firewall enabled(I tried enabling both and it still did not work.) I also tried enabling nat and it still didn't work. And all users connect to jabber via their username@192.168.1.4 (the server's ip address) My question is what can I do to make this work? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
