suffix mapping and CGI’s

I'm trying to move from Webstar 5.x to Panther Server. Everything seems to be a go so far except for 2 issues. I'm using Lasso. I can add .lasso to the suffix mapping, and LassoService is running, but doesn't appear pages are being handled by LassoService. Is there something else I need to do in additon to the suffix mapping? Sharepoints for FTP is the other thing I'm not clear on yet. Any good references for better understanding sharepoints- FTP, etc?
