Solaris SUN One Ldap Server and Snow Leopard woes…

Hello all, I am having some not so fun issues with getting our Leopard and Snow Leopard clients to authenticate from the login window against our Solaris SUN One Ldap server. Has anyone had any similar issues? Tips? Tricks? Thanks in advance for any help.
