This is a newly installed Quad G5, 1.5G of ram, 10.4.4 server. I have DNS, DHCP, and Open Directory running as a master. Nothing else is running.
When I hit the "Start Service" button in Server Admin with Software Update selected, I get this in my log file (and the service does not start).
Jan 25 17:04:12 EaseServer SystemStarter[282]: Could not create IPC bootstrap port: com.apple.SystemStarter
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
