Slightly off topic but…

Hi All Does anyone know how to suppress/remove the dialogue box that asks you if you "really want to open this application that came from the internet"? It is driving me to distraction and I want to remove it from my images. When apple first introduced it I thought it smacked of Microsoft... it was such an MS thing to put into the GUI/Finder.
