sharepoint welcome message

Hi In my mind this would be an easy one, but I haven't found the solution, so hopefully someone here can help :) I have a server with a couple of shares, and I would like to pop up a welcome message when one (specific) of the shares are mounted . It is a 10.4.9 server and the clients are both mac and windows. TIA, Peter
